In 2010 the Diane LaMotte ALS foundation was able to arrange for a retina controlled interactive device called a Dynavox to be delivered to one of our ALS families. Thatiana can now write and send email, surf the web and talk with personal programmed voice phrases or converse "on the fly". This incredible device was donated to the foundation by another of our families with the understanding that we pass it along. We are so excited that we were in the position to bring some independance to our dear friend Thatiana.
Photos. from our first fundraising event. The "Uplifting Life" Concert held o April 27, 2007 in Winter Park Florida. Over $18,000 was raised and enabled us to purchase a new transfer Lift System and provide funds for several of our ALS caregivers. Thanks to all who helped make this evening and event such a success.
